EICR Barking provides Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) and related electrical safety services for residential and commercial properties. All inspections are carried out by qualified, NICEIC registered electricians in accordance with current regulations and standards.

3. Quotes and Pricing

All quotes provided are based on the information supplied by the customer. Prices may be subject to change if:

• The property is larger or more complex than initially described
• Access to certain areas is restricted or difficult
• Additional circuits or installations are discovered during the inspection
• The property requires preliminary work before testing can commence

4. Booking and Cancellation

When booking an appointment:

• You must ensure someone is present to provide access to the property
• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment
• Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a fee
• We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances

5. Access Requirements

To carry out an EICR inspection, our electricians require access to all areas of the property, including the consumer unit (fuse box), all rooms, loft spaces, and outbuildings where electrical installations are present. The customer is responsible for ensuring access is available.

6. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of the inspection and delivery of the EICR certificate. We accept payment by bank transfer, debit card, or credit card. For commercial clients or portfolio landlords, alternative payment arrangements may be available upon request.

7. Remedial Work

If the EICR inspection identifies defects requiring remedial work, we can provide a separate quote for the necessary repairs. Remedial work is not included in the standard EICR inspection price unless specifically agreed in advance. All remedial work will be carried out to current standards and retested.

8. Limitation of Liability

EICR Barking shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided. We maintain appropriate professional indemnity insurance.
